Project Description
Physiotech, a leading medical supply company, was embarking on migrating its existing online presence to WordPress and WooCommerce platform. This move aimed to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and boost online sales through a modern, scalable, and easy-to-manage website.
The migration to WordPress and WooCommerce positioned Physiotech for future growth and success by providing a more flexible, user-friendly, and efficient e-commerce platform. This project will not only enhance the customer experience but also streamline internal operations, driving increased sales and customer satisfaction.
The story
Richmond Media reached out to RedPit Software to help guide the technical process of migrating to a WordPress and WooCommerce site. Physiotech sought this migration to enhance their online presence with a user-friendly interface, improved e-commerce capabilities, and robust security features. The goal was also to streamline their operations, simplifying the management of product listings and order processing, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers. Additionally, the move allowed for better SEO optimization, helping Physiotech reach a broader audience and increase online sales.
OUR APPROACH
RedPit Software and Richmond Media conducted a thorough analysis of Physiotech's requirements, current website structure, and business objectives. This involved detailed discussions to understand their brand identity, target audience, and desired user experience. Following this discovery phase, we outlined a clear project roadmap and timeline, ensuring transparency and alignment with Physiotech's expectations. In integrating WooCommerce, RedPit Software configured the e-commerce functionalities to streamline product management, secure payment gateways, integrate QuickBooks, and create intuitive checkout processes. DragonWaggin was an idea from an innovative company dedicated to revolutionizing dispatch services with the development of a cutting-edge web and mobile application. RedPit Software was tabbed to build the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) project which aimed to deliver a robust and scalable dispatch solution designed to streamline operations, enhance communication, and improve overall efficiency for businesses in the logistics and transportation industry.
The DragonWaggin dispatch web and mobile app MVP project is poised to transform the dispatching process by offering a streamlined, efficient, and user-friendly solution. By focusing on real-time communication, route optimization, and scalability, DragonWaggin aims to set a new standard in the logistics and transportation industry. This MVP will serve as the foundation for future enhancements, ensuring that the platform evolves to meet the growing needs of its users.
The story
DragonWaggin wasn't born from a "back of the napkin" idea. It emerged from a conversation over burgers, a log sheet, and a spreadsheet. The original concept was a mobile app to track a truck's mileage and gas level, eliminating the need for a manual log sheet and spreadsheet. After an initial three-month trial, RedPit Software proposed extending the process to allow dispatching calls to on-call drivers. This request was met with a resounding 'Yes,' and RedPit Software began work to replace three additional scraps of paper (a receipt, a "while you were out" note, and a AAA work ticket) with a comprehensive dispatch system. Weeks passed, and a working proof of concept was created, followed by months of trial and error, along with a few bug fixes. Finally, the MVP was ready and released to a medium-sized towing company for their exclusive use.

The story
The Itsy Bitsy Budget mobile app is a collaboration between three educators and an Excel-loving nerd. They aimed to transform their nerdy friend's Excel budget spreadsheet into a tool for teenagers. RedPit Software was tasked with dissecting the complex formulas, reverse-engineering the spreadsheet, and simplifying it into a kid-friendly mobile app. After a series of Q&A sessions (some wine-fueled, leading to additional questions), RedPit Software began development. They delivered the alpha version for testing, humorously requesting that testing not be fueled by wine. Progressing beyond the alpha stage, Itsy Bitsy Budget is now in beta and is being considered for use in schools to enhance financial literacy and budgeting education.

This led to the creation of PilotCare, which leveraged existing procedures from the patient portal to integrate and deliver reports via a mobile app. Since its inception, PilotCare has consistently provided a reliable solution, enjoying several years of successful operation.
